We feel so lucky to be part of the ABC Educare whanau and have been for over five years. During this time our children have been lucky enough to have had (and still have) the most hard working, dedicated, knowledgeable, and nurturing teachers. Our children have always felt loved and valued and most importantly love their days at ABC and the relationships they have with their very special teachers. We are so grateful to have had our children go through ABC Educare.

We have been very impressed with ABC EDUCARE, their passion and ability to deliver care for families. We have created close relationships throughout our journey for both our two children who started at 9 months old. ABC EDUCARE have had an excellent understanding to our family requirements and needs, as a result we would recommend – without a doubt -ABC EDUCARE to other families.

We have been involved with ABC Educare for the past 6 ½ years and absolutely love it.  We have been so priviledged to be involved with such a great centre.  Over that time we have been involved with all aspects of the centre – from the Little House, Middle House and Big House through to the “Schoolies” programme. We have found it to be the best place for our 3 children to be involved with and have been blessed to be involved with the staff and other families there.

ABC Educare has wonderful caring and qualified teachers who have became more than that.  To us they are friends and probably will be even after our children leave the centre.  The teachers follow children’s interests with their learning.  For example with our son, a writing task involving a robot quickly developed into making a robot out of boxes and it was then painted.  We have also made good friends with other families too so there is a real sense of whanau present.

Communication is always great – from key teachers talking to parents at the end of the day, to emails, to notices informing of any illnesses on the doors, notices of upcoming events, parent-teacher evenings to Storypark messages.

Learning journals are used to inform parents how their children have developed and their interests and these stories are updated regularly.  These relate directly to the ECE curriculum.  The stories are shared on an online learning platform called Storypark.  This is great as the stories can also be shared with family/friends throughout the world.

Each house demonstrates a peaceful environment, even in the morning when children are getting dropped off.  The outside spaces in each house incorporate natural elements and are maintained to a high standard.

The only problem we have encountered is that sometimes our children don’t want to leave at the end of the day!!  We can’t speak highly enough of ABC Educare and would highly recommend it to other families looking for an early childhood centre
